This place makes us feel right at home.
Smells great, classic Southern chill and rustic decor,
excellent music (rock, country, blues), sweet service -
simply order and pay at the register, then just sit down and wait,
several kinds of help yourself yummy sauces, a bar, daily specials/
all-you-can-eat nights, live music Wednesday night, and big as your
face, incredibly delicious, "97% fresh beef, 3% nunya business" burgers
that satisfied our 19-year-old.  That's saying a lot!
Don't even get me started on the hush puppies,
and they've got photos of their customers' dogs all over the walls.
You can even bring them along and sit outside on the patio.
Forget Lady & the Tramp, spaghetti, and candles.
This place is our new favorite date night!
P.S. Generous and numerous community fundraising events making giving easy.

All their food is really good, but they have the BEST burgers in the valley. No other burger patty has sooo much flavor. I've maybe had one other burger ever that competes, and it was out of state.

As a native Austin Texan, this place is a true pecan pie slice of home. Jim (former marine) and Nancy (college sweetheart) are to die for as well as the rest of the staff (army).

The brisket is on point with terry black and all the other local Texas dives. If you are looking for BBQ with the original Tex, order at the window, vibe and live music weds nights. Congrats. You found it.

This was our first time going here. Meats were moist, not dried out and very flavorful. BBQ beans were delicious, potato salad was good and cornbread was great. My husband tried the fried okra and said it was ok but still not like his grandma's, but who can compete with grandma lol. We got a slice of pecan pie and some peach cobbler. Both were delicious. Food was amazing, service was friendly, dogs allowed in outdoor seating area. I also LOVED the hall of dog photos!
